George W. Robbins was a UCLA alumnus. He returned to teach Economics as an assistant professor (1931), was the head of the University Extension program, chairman of the Department of Business Administration, and Dean of the Graduate School of Management. He was a frequent spokesman on business practices and ethics during the 1950s and 60s.
